There were many positive reviews for these men’s cycling shorts. One reviewer stated they are fabulously comfortable. I bicycle 3 to 5 days a week to work on a mountain bike outfitted with slick road tires. The commute is about 8 miles each way, so not a major trip. However, in the sweltering hot weather here in New Jersey, it’s very painful without them.

Another cyclists said I was looking for well-padded shorts, and these definitely fit the bill. They have lots of padding in the right places, but not so much that the bulk gets in the way.

This reviewer mentioned what a difference wearing these make riding your bike. Great fit. Use the chart provided for sizing. Yes you do have to wear them commando. These are great for a very attractive price.

There were lot so of positive reviews for these mens cycling shorts. One reviewer stated great cycling liners to wear underneath normal shorts. Padding isn’t too bulky, grippy legs means no riding up of the liner whilst cycling. Size wise true to size – love Italian designed clothing and sizes as they fit me perfectly. Would definitely add more of these in the future.

Numerous reviewers mentioned these are really well made with excellent cushioning where it counts! Very comfortable, no chaffing anywhere. I give these a big thumbs up.

Again lots of reviewers felt the sizing was true and these shorts delivered exactly what you might realistically expect at the price-point which they are offered at. Not the best liner short I have, but the best bargain.

This reviewer said these shorts are great due to the chamois in the seat area. I do not have any more discomfort in the seat area riding a bike. Their sizes are good.

They have made a difference in saddle soreness. I ride 17 miles to work and 17 miles home once or twice a week. Even with this regular riding there was a touch of soreness. With the liner, that soreness is gone.

A cyclist stated the best thing about this liner is that you can wear it with any shorts on top, so the versatility is a big positive.

There were many positive reviews for these womens bike shorts. One reviewer stated that as a beginner cyclist, these shorts made cycling go from unbearable to bearable. They have a decent amount of padding, and the length and feel are great. They stay in place well. The padding isn’t too bulky, so I can comfortably run in them after cycling, which should make them great for a triathlon.

Many reviewers said they just started spinning at the local gym. And one woman got these and felt they are a good standard, pretty much exactly as I imagined them. Fit is true to size and the legs have grips on the bottom so they do not ride up. Overall, a good purchase!

There is always a concern about fit and this reviewer mentioned she was apprehensive buying “padded biking shorts”, having never bought anything like this before,…even directly from a store after trying one on. But when I got these, they fit like a glove!! I used the sizing table given, using my exact measurements. (If you haven’t recently and carefully measured yourself, you may want to do this before picking your size.)

Another reviewer felt for the price and quality, just buy them already. If you are thinking about purchasing them, do it. I have recently become a road cyclist starting at the beginning of this summer. I had one pair of shorts, and really needed a second pair. As a graduate student I was only looking to spend around $30 for a new pair. The other shorts that I have cost about the same as these, but are no where near as good.

A good chamois is important for men’s cycling and many reviewers feel there’s plenty of padding in the chamois but it’s flexible enough to move with you.

There were some good reviews on these cycling tights. Important is that the fit is true to size and they wash well.

Several reviewers stated these tights are exactly as advertised. They have an incredible fit, wick moisture nicely, and of course keep you very warm during those chilly morning rides. The chamois is comfortable and form fitting. It doesn’t make you squirm around on your seat like many others. The tights fit like a glove, but move with you and are not restrictive in any way. I would rate them as excellent and recommend these to anyone who is looking for top performance cycling tights.

Another reviewer mentioned that he usually would just throw on sweat pants once it got under 45 degrees. While it is still fall, these kept me toasty at 30 degrees and I would expect they would work fine down to the teens. They fit snug so that it is almost like a massage on your calves as you ride. The thermal panels perfectly cover where wind hits, and the zippered leg openings let you seal in the heat.

The construction and materials are excellent, as is everything I’ve tried from Pearl Izumi. For real cold, or cold plus wind, still need thin long john’s.

There were a number of positive reviews for these Cycling tights. One reviewer stated great fit, comfort, on a cold windy day around freezing. I cycle all year round and prefer warm weather but the Thermal Tight really provide warm comfort in the fall/winter time.

Another reviewer stated that this is the first pair of biking tights I’ve bought, but I have taken them out several times now in weather ranging from 28 degrees to 48 and haven’t felt cold in the least (at least on my legs).  If it weren’t for these I’d have stopped riding as soon as the temperature dropped.

Regarding the style a reviewer said nice material and has some extra thermal layer up front. The Pearl Izumi thermal hat is a great companion to this item and I use it biking and jogging!

Of course in the fall you need to change a bit of your cycling clothing. Besides a jacket and long sleeve jersey you will want cycling knickers (Capri) or pants as well depending on the temperature. I also use arm warmers sometimes as well. If you have ever wondered why some or most cyclist wear the tight riding jerseys and shorts? The sweat moves to the surface, evaporates and help cools the skin.

You may want to consider wool cycling clothing which wicks away moisture, keeps you warm and it odorless as well. Regarding using cycling knickers (Capri) you will not believe how just covering the knees can give you a little added warmth.

As with any cold (cooler) weather outdoor activity it’s all about layering. You do need to be wearing breathable fabrics that “wick” and pull the cooling sweat away from your skin for your base layer and wearing just enough of an outside layer to keep out the wind or rain.  Done correctly it works very well, incorrectly and results can lead to a very cold riding experience or worst, hypothermia.

The first layer is your base layer, the layer that is tight to the skin. For example at the bottom your base layer can be either thermals like long johns, a spandex nylon mix similar to your summer cycling outfit or merino wool.

Not only does each layer move the perspiration from my skin to the outside air but between the long johns to the coat heat is trapped. How? Each layer is a litter looser to the fit therefore trapping a layer of warm air between each garment of clothing. You stay warm and dry while all the perspiration moves through until it reaches the outside air

One mistake is to overdress because you are cold in the parking lot before you start. Remember it does not take long to build up heat. Remember if you over heat and sweat too much you can still be put into a hypothermic situation if it grows colder. Remember you can always remove layers if needed.

Dress right and enjoy your cool weather cycling in the autumn.

There were lots of positive reviews about these womens cycling knickers. One reviewer state that all the females in my family now has a pair of these knickers. The fit is solid. The fabric is stretchy enough to mold the leg and buttock muscles tightly.

Most women buy these as the weather is getting slightly cooler, but it wasn’t cold enough for full length tights and too cool for shorts during some of my runs. I received these and love that there was a compression-like feel that offered support for my leg muscles, but not too restricting. Some of the tights that I looked at the fabric seemed too thin and somewhat see-through. These knickers felt like it was of more substantial material.

I like this pant; it is perfectfor my mountain bike; but riding on road bike I would need an under pant with padding.

Finally found a great fitting Capri…not easy with an athletic build, small waist and big muscle thighs. i use these for running and cycling. love the material, smooth and no chaffing. nice big back pocket, holds my phone or several granola bars. i bought 3 pairs because i use them so often.. and no regrets.

There were lots of positive reviews for these bike shorts. Several reviewers talked about the liners with this person stating unlike other mountain biking shorts I own, the liner and shorts are completely separate and are held together as you ride by two loops and clips. At first I thought this was a bit odd, but it works really well, especially in the laundry. Many reviewers mentioned the pocket. One stated that the single zippered pocket is ample enough to hold a medium wallet (located on the lower portion of the right leg). Another said it would have been very nice to have at least one pocket somewhere that is large enough to carry something other than identification. Still, these are very comfortable on the bike or out and about. Really good shorts. Regarding the fit a reviewer said the elastic waistband adjusts with several buttons on each side of the shorts. A pair of loops inside the waistband clip to the short liners (to avoid sagging?) I purchased a medium size for an approx. 35″ waist and only a minor adjustment to the waistband was needed.

One reviewer stated she went on a five day biking/camping trip, and wore these pants every day to reduce the amount of weight I was carrying. They were comfortable, quick drying, stain resistant, and looked good both on the bike, in the grocery store and at restaurants! I never felt self-conscious in them, even though I had to get the largest size – in pants I’m a regular size 14… never something I considered an XX-large before. But they’re slimming and look so good I even got complements on them from other biker-riders! Definitely a good buy, especially at the Amazon price – would get again.

Reviewers loved the comfort of this womens baggy short. The gel chamois liner in the Serfas Zip Baggy is a very comfortable pad. I am always looking for the pair of shorts that I can call, my 100 mile shorts. Although I won’t be putting in 100 miles on the MTB, these liners are making the 3 hour MTB rides feel like 1!

Other reviewers commented that I like the gel, very comfortable. I bought sizer large which fit me very well. So in summary, very comfortable, but I wish the outer short was a slight bit smaller and the liner a slight bit bigger.

There were also comments regarding the style. One woman who purchased these stated I bought these before my first 150 mile weekend ride and was thrilled to discover that I could ride that far and not hurt at all 30 seconds after getting off my bike. The inner liner washes easily and drys quickly. The shorts with many pockets are my favorite summer gear, on or off my bike.

Well there was only one review on the Amazon site. I like and use some Gore-Tex products and have found their claim regarding weather protection to be really helpful when I do get caught in the rain which is usually when I am bicycle touring.

The reviewer found  these paints are incredibly light weight and have great features. They fit loosely but feature two Velcro tightening straps on each leg that tighten the pants around your calves making them incredibly universal in regards to size.

They also feature a large mesh pocket in the back which I’ve found is great for storing my gloves and face mask. I also found these pants to be highly versatile for many different types of weather. They’re obviously completely waterproof, but so light weight and breathable you can simply wear them over your bike shorts so as to not over heat and stay dry in the rain.

Comes in two parts – whether I am on a one week US ride or three journey in European bicycle touring journey I always pack the same way. Two outer shorts and three inner shorts plus laundry soap. I prefer this style as it is easy to wash the lightweight inner shorts in the sink and they dry overnight.

Pockets – when bicycle touring you want pockets for your wallet to buy lunch items or for small items when you are oft the bike sightseeing. These shorts come with two deep pockets plus two expandable cargo pockets so you will not lose things. This is a great features for mountain bikers too.

Padding – the anatomically designed padded liner helps you last longer in the saddle and ride stronger with optimum protection from chafe and fatigue. Made of a quick dry fabric, the engineered pad is thin on the edges with an extra amount of thickness on the sit bones and with a single density foam that is perforated for maximum air flow.

There are not a lot of reviews but they were positive about the product itself. On reviewer stated the shorts are nylon, and look like something you might wear to the gym. The legs are fitted snugly enough to keep them from inflating or sliding up when you are riding, and loosely enough to look more like a short than a pair of weird spandex underwear.

Another reviewer mentioned the shorts overall appear well designed, including padding, and well made. They have comfortably close-fitting inner shorts with padding where you would contact a saddle (chafe included) plus a narrow strip circling each leg-bottom that prevents the inner shorts from riding up. Inner and outer shorts are sewn together at the waist.

The shorts feel light to wear; are comfortable cycling either single track mountain biking or road biking. Although recommended for bicycle touring I personally prefer their padded bicycle touring shorts.
