What is good about the 2XU Mens Graduated Performance Compression Tights

Reduce muscle fatigue – and enhance blood flow when working out and which also provide excellent support to help reduce muscle damage. Graduated compression, with higher levels in the lower leg, encourages maximum blood flow return toward the heart.

Improve performance – 2XU’s graduated compression technology boasts regulated pressure throughout all the garment to deliver performance benefits during and post exercise. By enhancing circulation through increased venous function, more oxygenated blood is delivered to the muscles that need it most. At the same time, by-products created by exercise, such as lactic acid, are flushed from the muscles to reduce fatigue and decrease recovery time.

Fabric – it’s constructed of a circular knit 50 denier fabric, which maintains the proper compression without stretching and becoming ineffective.

Regulates temperature – with increased circulation, the tights help regulate your body temperature keeping you cooler when it’s hot and warmer when it’s cool. Exceptional moisture managing material keeps your dry.

Minimizes odor – the antibacterial treatment minimizes odor and will not wash out of the garment.

Sun protection – they also offer sun protection with a UPF 50+ rating.

Improves recovery cycle – by offering graduated pressure to improve the recovery cycle by helping the pumping action of the cardiovascular system. This process which removes blood lactate from exercising muscles, leads to reduced swelling, faster muscle repair, and less muscle soreness.

What cyclists say about the 2XU Mens Graduated Performance Compression Tights

While there were many positive reviews I have included only those posted by cyclists for the 2XU Mens Graduated Performance Compression Tights.

One reviewer stated well worth it. Fits perfectly, I am 5’6 and I bought a small. It does exactly what it is supposed to do. Compression pants are amazing for the gym and biking.

Another reviewer stated that he uses these for bicycling during cold mornings. I find that the customary ‘padded’ style tights tend to cut off blood supply to my legs as I pedal while sitting on the seat. But, by wearing only these compression tights as bicycling tights, I am feeling fine. I also have a recumbent bicycle, and these are perfect for that use also.

A reviewer said he was sceptical about compression wear, until I spoke to a friend that was equally sceptical but had taken the plunge and bought a pair. So I figured what the heck and I would give them a try. I got to tell you I was really surprised how they relieved soreness in my legs after hard bicycle rides.

Numerous reviewers thought they feel like a lightweight tight out of the box, they insulate more like a mid-weight. Felt perfect while riding in upper 40 degree temps with a 10-15 mph wind.

Most reviewers highly recommend this product for any athlete seeking faster recovery time. The sizing was true to size and is made from high quality material. Once again 2XU has left more than satisfied.

One reviewer said my only complaint is that despite the cycling logos and branding, the cut seems more tailored to runners. The rear of the tights kept sliding down throughout my ride. Since they are unpadded, I wear them over my cycling shorts – the only thing that prevented a drafty situation and plumber’s crack.

The ABSOLUTE BEST Bike tights I can’t say enough positive about these.. every time I see a sale a grab a pair or two and so should you.. No bagging at the knees, the decals stay on (so far) and the material is great the compression makes my legs feel like they (and me) were 40..? 🙂 I’ll take that 40.

A little disappointed with the size as it seem a little bit … I bought it when I was in the states but never got a chance to use it till I came back to Malaysia two weeks ago. Used it last weekend for running. A little disappointed with the size as it seem a little bit loose despite me following the chart size. Was more disappointed when I notice the ‘X’ shading off halfway through my runs. Note that the product was not tempered with the whole time it was with me nor did I wash it. Can’t figure out as to what made the Shading happen. Not sure it i can get a refund or replacement for this

A Very Good Product! I would have never thought that as a guy,I would be wearing tights for my leg related workouts. Further, I never new how beneficial these are to your leg circulatory system AND to your ability to increase endurance during “leg” intensive exercises and recovery from exercise.. These are just amazing! You will notice the difference on your first leg intensive work out,Some possible “suggested” improvements could include:1) Make a more “supportive” pocket for the “fellas” in the crotch area. No need to compress these guys, right? If this is done some of us may have to wear shorts to cover “that” specific area from prying eyes and prudes but he comfort level would be several magnitudes better for these tights! AND, our voice wouldn’t become “high pitched” when doing “squat” exercises from the “compression” of the fellas. I’m just say’n…………..2) Add about 1.5 to 2 inches to the waist height height of…
